Residential Decorative Window Film
Give Your Windows a Frosted or Patterned Finish
Decorative film changes the look of suitable existing glass without replacing it with etched glass. It can add interest to an entryway, soften a view between rooms or create more privacy in an overlooked space.
Choose a Design You Enjoy Living With
We can discuss full frosting, partial bands or patterns that leave some glass clear. A design can look quite different across a full door or several windows than it does on a small sample.
- Look at the pattern from your usual seat and from the doorway.
- Check how it lines up across doors, frames and neighboring panes.
- Decide which areas should stay clear and what people could see through them.
Balance the Look With the Privacy You Need
A decorative pattern does not automatically make a room private. Clear borders and cutouts leave views through, and some frosted finishes can show silhouettes depending on the lighting and distance.
If heat or glare is also a concern, we check that separately. A frosted appearance alone does not tell you a film’s solar performance.
You Do Not Need a Finished Design to Get Started
Tell us the look and privacy you want. We check the glass, existing coatings or film, and exposure before discussing suitable finishes. A product intended for an indoor partition is not automatically suitable outdoors.
We take measurements and help you compare the layout. If you later want a different look, removal or replacement can be assessed, though a like-new surface cannot be promised for every pane.

Questions about your project
Is decorative film permanent etching?
No. It is a film applied to suitable glass. Its etched or frosted appearance is not the same as permanently altering the pane itself.
Can I leave part of a window clear?
A partial layout can be considered. Review the remaining clear sightline as well as the appearance before choosing the coverage.
Will any pattern provide privacy after dark?
No. Coverage, finish, lighting and viewing position matter. Discuss the room with the lights on and the screening you need rather than relying on the pattern name.
Do I need to draw the design first?
No. Start with the look and privacy goal. The consultation can develop suitable choices and the relevant measurements.
