Why a window can damage artificial grass
Under certain conditions, reflected sunlight becomes concentrated onto a small area outdoors. Synthetic turf in that area can be exposed to enough heat to distort its fibers. Low-E and double-pane windows can be involved, but the glass type alone doesn't establish the cause.
The location of the glass, the path of the reflection, and the material receiving it all matter. An unusually bright or damaged patch is a reason to investigate, rather than proof that every nearby window needs treatment.

SOLYX SX-1975 Reflect Protect installation in Southern California
We check the windows involved, including the glass, coatings and any existing film, before recommending SX-1975. Our team also measures the glass and reviews exterior access. If the windows belong to another owner, their permission is required before installation.
The manufacturer specifies Reflect Protect for exterior installation to reduce damaging window reflections affecting artificial turf and vinyl siding. It has a screen-like finish that allows a view outward.

A suitable film can help when concentrated window reflection is the cause. We need to identify the source and select a treatment intended for that application. We don't promise that any tint will solve every turf problem.

Melted fibers won't be restored by film. Your turf installer can advise on repair after the reflection issue has been addressed and the treatment's effect assessed.

Yes, we can assess an individual window as well as a larger opening. We'll also look at relevant neighboring panes before recommending the scope.

We can discuss the situation with you and the relevant owner or manager. Treatment of another property's glass requires their authorization and suitable access.

Reflected sunlight can also affect other heat-sensitive exterior materials. Mention any nearby damage during the consultation so we can consider the setting. The material and exposure still need their own assessment.
