Which stage is your lawn project at?

The starting point changes what needs to be decided first. Tell us whether you are seeing damage, planning new turf, or arranging a replacement, and we will review the glass and lawn area with you.

Damage is appearing now

A melted-looking line or patch deserves a source assessment before another repair. Concentrated window reflections can distort artificial-grass fibers, but similar-looking damage should not automatically be blamed on the nearest pane.

We consider the affected area, surrounding glazing, and the path of the suspected reflection. Upper windows and glass doors can be relevant. We explain what the assessment supports and whether another observation is needed. Our melted-turf guide explains what happens before a treatment is selected.

New artificial grass is going in

Plan the window review while the lawn layout and installation sequence can still change. We assess existing glass beside the proposed area and explain whether a suitable reflection-control treatment belongs in the project. Film is not automatically needed for every new lawn.

This timing also lets us consider exterior access before nearby planting, fencing, or other work is finished. Our guide to window reflections before turf installation explains how the window work and lawn installation fit together.

Damaged turf is being replaced

New material can be exposed to the same concentrated reflection if the source is unchanged. Arrange the window assessment before committing to replacement in the affected area. We can explain the suitable treatment and any remaining checks so the repair sequence accounts for them.

Film cannot reverse melted fibers. Your turf installer advises on the damaged grass and handles its replacement. We address the appropriate window work.

Decide which glass contributes before choosing how much to treat

A useful service plan identifies the relevant panes rather than assuming that every window needs film. We check the glass, existing coatings or tint, and the selected product's application requirements. If the reflection appears to come from glass doors, our glass-door reflection guide explains why the individual panels and surrounding layout matter.

We also discuss who controls the source glass. If it belongs to a neighbor or is managed by someone else, treatment requires the appropriate owner's permission and access. We explain that dependency before planning an installation on another property.

Review the sample as well as the treatment's purpose

Specialist reflection-control materials are selected to address reflected sunlight reaching the turf. An ordinary indoor heat-control film, a dark shade, or a high UV-blocking figure does not establish that protection.

Appearance can also be different. Some specialist options have a perforated or screen-like finish. We bring samples and talk through the view from inside, the exterior appearance, and the effect on daylight. The glass and selected material determine the installation requirements; we explain care and the applicable written warranty before you choose.

Common questions before booking

How do you assess the reflection?

We review the suspected source alongside the affected or planned lawn area and explain whether the glass needs treatment.

Will one visit establish that the yard is safe all year?

No. Sunlight and shade vary, and a reflection may be absent during the visit. We explain any additional observation needed rather than making an all-season promise from one set of conditions.

Can you help promptly if my installation is approaching?

Yes. We stock specialist solutions and regularly handle turf-reflection work. Contact us with your planned date and we will arrange the next steps as soon as possible.
