Window Film for Hollywood Homes and Businesses
Reduce Heat and Glare or Add Privacy
Window film can reduce incoming solar heat, soften harsh daylight or obscure views through selected glass in Hollywood homes and businesses. The right finish depends on the problem: glare on a screen, a seat that feels too hot and a private meeting room do not necessarily need the same film.
Keep Daylight or Filter More Brightness
Lighter-looking solar-control films can reduce heat while keeping more daylight and an outward view. Stronger glare filtering lets in less visible light, which can make a television or computer easier to see but also makes the room darker. Heat control and glare reduction are different properties; a nearly clear film may not filter enough brightness for a screen.
Color and reflection can change, even with a light film. We check the existing glass and coatings before recommending a product, and consider how treated windows will look beside untreated glass.
Choose Privacy for the Way You Use the Room
Reflective film can provide daytime privacy when it is brighter outside than inside, while retaining an outward view. Do not rely on it for privacy in a lit room after dark. Frosted film obscures views through the covered glass, but also changes the view out; bands and privacy patterns leave their clear areas see-through.
The residential guide covers rooms and home windows. The commercial guide covers workspaces, meeting-room glass and storefront needs.
A Hollywood Storefront Project
Our Hollywood storefront project used clear anti-graffiti film on new exterior glass on Sunset Boulevard. The film puts a replaceable layer between suitable glass and some scratching, abrasion or marking; it is not a guarantee against vandalism or damage to the glass.
