Privacy Bands and Branded Glass in Brea
Privacy and Branding on the Right Glass
At the Brea Pilates studio, 48-inch frosted bands were installed on exterior-facing glass, while selected interior panels received custom logo film. These were separate parts of the same design, not one uniform treatment across all glass.
Choose Coverage Around the People Using the Room
A privacy band should screen the intended activity while leaving useful views clear.
- Check views into the area from sitting, standing or other relevant positions.
- Decide which clear areas are intentional and whether they expose the activity being screened.
- Review visibility under the lighting used during operating hours.
- Choose the band height for your glass and activities rather than automatically repeating the studio’s 48-inch dimension.
- Place clear logo details where they will not leave an unwanted view into a private area.
Compare the Finish With Your Room Lighting
Frosted film obscures the view while allowing light through, but the amount of light and the visibility of nearby shapes depend on the product and conditions. The studio shows one way to combine branding and privacy; we can review a suitable finish and coverage for your own space.
Questions about your project
Is a privacy band the same as full coverage?
No. Glass outside the band remains clear unless separately treated. The intended privacy must be assessed with that in mind.
Can artwork be considered after the coverage is chosen?
Yes. Establish the needed screening first, then coordinate the logo or pattern with that coverage.
